He defined a generation, inspired millions and exposed the "7 Words You Can Never Say on Television".
"When cheese gets it's picture taken, what does it say?" - George Carlin
At age 71,
George Carlin died of a heart attack this weekend and will be sorely missed by 5 decades worth of fans, whether they where from one of his many children's shows (that always seemed wrong somehow), to his die hard comedy fans.
Myself included. I think I'm going to pull out my old LP's and fire up the record player in honour of the man that helped warp my sense of humour at a very early age and, in a strange way, opened my mind to looking at the world in a
very different way.
I burned up many, many hours of my youth listening to his many routines (over 14 albums worth) and can honestly say, he's one of the funniest comedians to have ever walked the Earth.

The fact that his name appears in American law (due to the airing of his 7 words sketch on a New York radio station and subsequent legal arbitration against censorship and free speech on the air), is just icing on the cake for a man that tackled life's conundrums with a crooked smile.
"Frisbeetarianism is the belief that when you die, your soul goes up on the roof and gets stuck." - George Carliln
To the consumate comedian, philosopher and political activist,
"Party on dude!" ... :hippy:
